I am generally just passionate in helping people academically as I feel very rewarded seeing students' growth over a long course of time. I believe there is no such thing as a bad student even if someone doesn't have an academic or studious attitude/personality. With that said, I'm very motivated to help students that don't typically perform well in a classroom setting.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have good communication skills and will try to explain things from different point of views depending on the student's understandings. I also try to support them emotionally to build their confidence as I believe confidence plays a big part in academic performance. I am patient in explaining concepts repeatedly if needed to. I also like to observe a student's personality and passion in general. I believe everyone has different types of intelligence and I try to observe their weaknesses so that I can help them build on it.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To provide communication, patience and compassion. It is very important for tutors to accept each student for their own strengths and shortcomings in order to help students perform well academically. It also is important to be creative with techniques and materials that are not used in a classroom setting. Examples of this are customizing reading materials and exercises for students according to their strengths and weaknesses, giving general advice on ways of thinking and structuring their study timetable.
