What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Teaching someone has always been a source of enrichment for me. The simple fact that I can help someone with understanding a concept or solve a question brings me pride, especially seeing when something "clicks" in a student's brain as a result of my aid. Tutoring helps me as well by forcing me to be on top of my knowledge, which indirectly impacts my learning in university positively. It teaches me to uphold responsibility which makes my life and the student's better.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm patient and understanding, regardless how much a student struggles, I won't give up on a student unless they show they are clearly disinterested in learning. In that case, I believe it is first my responsibility to attempt to make their learning more fulfilling and maybe even fun, and be non-judgmental. Which leads me to my next strength, which is empathy. I believe that through thorough observation, I can think creatively and figure out what might work for my student as I believe every student learns differently. I understand the responsibility this brings, which I am fully capable of.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Inspire them to learn. I can tell when a teacher is genuinely passionate in what they teach, and when I can, it inspires me to learn as well. I hope to achieve the same outcome for my students.
