What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really enjoy the face to face contact with the students as it allows me to witness them grow and acquire skills as I teach them new topics. I also find tutoring to be stimulating for myself, as I am constantly talking about topics I love, and I also just love meeting new people who are also eager to learn!

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have great patience with all my students, and I'm happy to go over topics as many times as it takes for them to understand it. I also believe that I am able to explain things in many different ways so that the student has the best chance of understanding the topic.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the tutor shouldn't be the one always in control and leading the session. Especially in early sessions, I believe the tutor should encourage the student to ask many questions of them, to grasp what they know and how they interpret different topics. Tutoring almost becomes useless if the tutor is the one constantly talking because then the student becomes disengaged and takes nothing in.
