What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love giving others the ability to see the world in a quantitative way. I think being able to apply mathematics in your life even in small ways, can be joyful. Typically this takes time, but if I do my job and explain concepts properly, I can slowly allow my students to enjoy mathematics.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am able to meet my students where they are. I can explain concepts in multiple ways and break them down into indigestible pieces. My experience helps me to use tools like Desmos and GeoGebra to my advantage. I am super patient and can teach slowly or at a variety of paces.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

It is important to teach frameworks and critical thinking rather than boring formulas or random facts. In other words, the goal of any tutor is to teach someone how to fish and never give them fish. I strive to find familiar examples in real life that connect with the concepts we are learning to ease this process.
