What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love helping younger people develop their skills in areas I am passionate about, such as maths and academics. I have enjoyed my pursuit of knowledge in the academic world thoroughly and would love the opportunity to help others find such passion and enjoyment that I have found.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As I have just completed my high school studies, I have a stronger recollection of the content taught than many of my seniors. This means I know where students find difficulties, and can remember from my own experiences how to overcome them.
Additionally, I have first hand experience in working with children so am able to teach those in younger year levels. I was also tutored this year in Specialist Maths and Chemistry, most of which was required to take place over zoom. Because of this I have a solid understanding on how to manage unconventional methods of tutoring.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that the most important role of a tutor is to enable students to understand the content covered, and to help students develop their own strategies for solving difficult problems. I also think it's important for students not just to complete the content but find enjoyment in it, even if the subject material may be difficult for them. If students have an eagerness to learn and comprehend concepts it will become much easier for them to achieve the grades they desire and opportunities will arise for the continuation of their studies.
