What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy passing on my knowledge to others especially mathematical concepts as it is something students often find tedious but can find joy in once they understand the fundamentals. I enjoy teaching physics as it allows students to understand the phenomena of the everyday world through a different perspective. Hi, my name is Shirsho and I am currently studying Bachelor of Engineering (masters accelerated pathway) in Monash and graduated in 2021 with an ATAR of 96.7 and scores of 40 in Maths Methods, 43 in Physics and 49 in Further Maths. While study scores aren't necessarily a reflection of my tutoring abilities, it reflects my knowledge of these subjects and this is complemented by my other strengths which reflect my ability as a tutor. My main strengths include being dedicated, patient, and willing to listen to feedback if my students have any and I am also willing to adapt my teaching style to cater to particular students. I am also willing to dedicate a lot more time to students when it is before an assessment or during an exam period.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor needs to be able to guide students not only through the subject but their educational career as a whole. Tutors should be able to provide general feedback on learning as a whole to their students and should always be ready to support students particularly in harder periods such as the exam period.
