What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐Ÿ˜

Observing the stage when students are able to use a combination of prior and new knowledge to answer difficult prompts or questions. Essentially watching the 'lightbulb' moment occur.

My Strengths as Tutor ๐Ÿ’ช

Effectively communicating information to a student and showing applicable or useful examples to remember. I am also very proficient in providing tips for higher-level essay writing, such as techniques, structure and vocabulary.

Most important things I can do for a student ๐Ÿ…

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is allowing a student time to try and solve aspects of the problem themselves following proper guidance, instead of hand-holding them the entire way. This helps build critical thinking skills and allows the student to recognise the roots of the question. A tutor should also be understanding of any issues the student may face academically and should work accordingly.
