What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy being able to work with students and watch their improvement each lesson. I find that tutoring is most rewarding when I am able to help my client to improve their skills through building confidence. When I am able to support a student through their academic journey, I find great joy in watching them progressively become more independent and confident in their own academic capabilities!
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I would be a great tutor as I am patient, supportive and positive. I know that sometimes, learning can be difficult for some students, and often frustrating. I would ensure to always be patient with my student, giving them the time they need to process information, whilst also learning about how they learn. I would always be supportive towards my student, and encourage them to learn, celebrating every step of the way. This will increase their confidence, thus increasing their motivation to learn. I would also be positive all the time, to make sure the student always feels comfortable and safe.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to celebrate their successes, big or small. It can be difficult for some students to maintain a love for learning, or even just develop a motivation to study more, so I believe that a tutor is a pillar of support for the student throughout their learning. A tutor can give that extra push to the student, letting them know that they are always there to help, but also allowing the student to independently achieve their own academic goals. Through this, the student will be able to gain confidence in their own abilities.
