My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think I am a very patient tutor as the experience I have tutored and mentored many of my non-English speaking peers and it can get, honestly, really frustrating at times when the language barrier gets in the way. My proficiency in Mandarin has helped me to break that barrier and help my peers to get the best results possible in the English language. I am very passionate about passing on my knowledge about the English language to my students and I believe that passion is important when teaching as it can have a significant influence on how students approach their studies in the subject.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I consider a tutor to be successful when they are able to not only make a difference to their students' grades but also in their lives. I have had many tutors during high school for different subjects and found that only those who were passionate, genuinely interested in my life outside of just my studies and were willing to go the extra mile were those that actually made me interested in not only the subject but also in my overall approach towards learning. While knowledge is important in qualifying for a job, I believe that a passion for the job is equally important as well.
