What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is the influence and impact my teaching has over the student. The information I give them and the methods that they use to answer questions will be a direct reflection of my teaching, something that brings me happiness knowing that I've helped someone overcome something unfamiliar and daunting.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my most considerable strengths are my patience, as well as my willingness to learn new things to develop my abilities as a tutor. I could sit with a student for large amounts of time and still be as considerate and mindful as when we first started. I'm also very aware of my weaknesses in particular subjects, for example, I'm not as good at Ext1 Math as I want to be and that's why I want to start from the basics and even go as high as Ext2 Math and further. I also want a deeper understanding of Maths and want to use my free time to better comprehend the concepts.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things that I consider to be fundamental in a tutoring relationship is to ensure that the student understands the concept not just at a surface-level in regards to random and tedious questions, but also at a level that they understand what they are doing in reference to real-life applications. The tutor must also be able to build a healthy and patient relationship, in which all questions are welcomed and developed to form more complex questions as the tutoring relationship progresses.
