My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor would be my excellent written and analytical skills developed through tertiary education and in depth experience in a federal law enforcement agency, coupled with sound interpersonal and communication skills, which facilitate a good rapport with people of all ages and backgrounds. Furthermore, my vast technical knowledge of the codes, conventions and grammar structure of English has been enhanced through studying Italian. My weaknesses as a tutor would be my lack of formal tutoring/teaching experience, however I am a quick learner and would be eager to rectify this.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor’s role and objective is multi-faceted, I would consider the most important thing that a tutor can do for their student is not only to reinforce and develop their knowledge and competency of a subject and help them academically, but also help foster in that student a confidence in themselves and a genuine interest in learning. I believe this latter facet of a tutor’s role is the difference between a student needing a tutor or further aid indefinitely and becoming independent.
