What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I particularly enjoy the process of guiding and helping a student to reach the point where they feel confident in their abilities. I find it very fulfilling to work through a student's problems and struggles, to have an end goal in mind, and ultimately assist them to succeed in their academic endeavours.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I like to explain concepts step-by-step and I'm a fan of using applicable/relatable examples for problems. I think this works well for students as it helps them understand not only the question at hand, but the underlying reasoning and logic. I find that this often leads to a piqued interest in previously-disliked topics.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Personally, I consider a tutor's consistent motivation and encouragement to be the most important thing that can be done for a student. Of course, teaching students their material is a priority - but to keep them engaged and focused on their end goals, a tutor must always motivate and encourage their student through all the ups and downs.
