What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring is so exciting and fulfilling because you play a role in someone’s success. My student’s success is my success. I genuinely enjoy explaining concepts to people, and it’s always exciting when someone starts to understand a challenging concept. Being a teacher is a career I have seriously considered, and although I have since decided to pursue psychology, my pursuits have always been underpinned by my desire to help others be the best they can be. Tutoring also involves elements that I thoroughly enjoy and thrive in, such as working with children, organisation and the learning process.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I pride myself on being patient - I understand that everyone learns differently and at different speeds, and I happily accommodate this. I am also very thorough in how I teach - I leave no stone unturned. There are no shortcuts to success! Moreover, I am always looking to improve and refine my teaching approach. Students deserve quality tutoring.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I aim to instil students with effective learning strategies. People aren’t taught how to effectively learn and study, and often they can feel lost. I firmly believe that understanding the best learning approach for oneself is just as important as understanding the schoolwork.
