What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I believe what I would personally enjoy most about tutoring would be the direct mentorship I would be able to provide, which would allow me to have the opportunity to assist a student in reaching their own goals. It would be very heartwarming to guide a student through their journey to success, and watch them grow academically.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths would include my continual love and passion for English during high school, and my enjoyment of mentorship and assisting others. I would be honoured to assist an individual to also find a love for English and succeed within the subject. I would also be patient and persistent with my students and accustom to their learning styles for maximum results.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do is to listen to their student. Whether they need to adjust their techniques, or go more slowly, etc. The tutor should always be attendant to their student's needs and keep track of their progress. Positive reinforcement is also very important, as uplifting and encouraging your student is more beneficial than constantly criticising. Especially for a subject like English, the tutor needs to make sure the student feels comfortable and that they have a willingness to discuss their work, and how to correct their mistakes.
