What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing students improve and build their confidence and help them to see that hard work pays off. I love seeing their development as individuals and help them to become passionate about the subjects I teach. I am very enthusiastic and genuinely invested in my work and give my job my all. I was a private tutor for a year and helped out many of my peers in VCE during year 11 with English, Maths and French.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am very patient especially especially due to the fact that I have extensive experience mentoring and tutoring friends and family (even those who struggle or lack faith in their ability). I create a strong rapport with my students and encourage them to never hesitate to take the initiative to ask for further assistance. Additionally, I find the work very rewarding and it shows in my work ethic. Additionally, I have a firm grasp of the VCE Maths Curriculum until Units 1/2 primarily for Methods and attained exceptional grades for calculus and excelled in areas most of my peers did not flourish in because I am a hard worker and persevere.
Similarly, I am very adept at finding different methods in relation to approaching mathematical problems.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important facet of tutoring is to be certain about your ability and a close second is encouraging your students and letting them they are capable because half the challenge is low self-esteem especially in a competitive setting.
