What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy it because it’s a great feeling to be able to transfer your own knowledge and help someone else. There were plenty of times where I wish I could’ve had extra help and being able to give it myself is a great pleasure. Not only that but personally it’s a great developer of communication and organisational skills. Teaching others is also a great way to retain your own knowledge in those subjects.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I’m passionate about the subjects as someone who aspires to be an engineer maths physics and English are all things I have passion for. I also have a fairly wide range of interests and find it easy to connect with people younger than me particularly as I have a younger brother I’m constantly helping out with schoolwork as well
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important is to be supportive, from experience the reason that most people struggle with learning is because they give up or don’t think they can. Hence encouragement is key and positive re-enforcement. I also believe that making the student comfortable around you and going through source material in an efficient manner can make learning fun. I’d like to think that my students would look forward to my sessions as they will learn and enjoy themselves I don’t want it to feel like a chore.
