What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

During high school, I have been very passionate about teaching. I think the teacher has such an important role not only in educating students but being able to build a positive learning atmosphere and being able to build their student's confidence. Tutoring helps students being exposed to harder and newer concepts earlier, furthering their existing knowledge. It also ensures the students are confident with and on top of their school studies.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have always thought of Maths as being fun and exciting. It is always a good challenge to come across a difficult question and be able to overcome it. I believe I have the ability to make the learning experience a positive one where the student is comfortable in telling me their difficulties and us being able to tackle them together. I will make the concepts relatable and thus easier to understand, ensuring each student is left being confident and ultimately excel in their studies.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe a tutor has the ability to have a large impact on the student. Sometimes the school environment can be quite fast paced and many students are not able to keep up. Tutors therefore have the responsibility to ensure their students are up-to-date with their school studies and even have the ability to allow them to excel within school. Personally, when I attended tutoring for my extension math subjects in Year 12, I felt like I had an advantage over the other students by being exposed to new concepts earlier and having more time to perfect them.
