What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the satisfaction that comes with watching your student grow, which assures me that I myself am doing well as a tutor. To be given the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on a student's academic growth and overall confidence fills me with a sense of fulfillment. Another aspect is that I also get to learn a lot by embarking on this teaching journey, sometimes discovering new insights.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Organisation and time efficiency have consistently been my forte, strengths that can translate into valuable skills as a tutor. Through proper pre-planning, I will ensure all necessary materials are addressed and covered, preventing last-minute cramming. Efficient use of time will keep sessions focused and productive. I will also hopefully be able to pass my qualities onto my students, encouraging good time management and organized planning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Motivating students towards learning and studying to build self-confidence and reduce fear of failure is what I believe every tutor should aim to do. In achieving this, establishing a supportive and encouraging environment becomes essential, as it allows for a positive relationship between tutor and student. Listening to kids intently to tailor lesson plans and being fully dedicated towards their improvement will ultimately allow for them to thrive in their studies.
