I enjoy the fact that I am able to help others and hopefully be a positive influence in their lives as they improve academically. When the effort I put into tutoring translates into a tangible result for students, it gives me a sense of fulfillment.

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do is understand the needs of each student and adapt their teaching style in order to maximise the benefits that the student can get from tutoring. I've had my fair share of tutors growing up and the best tutors I've had weren't necessarily the most intelligent. They were empathetic individuals who truly cared for each student, who understood that not every student are at the same level. When a tutor is able to provide that personal connection and understanding, the student will be able to learn effectively.
