What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have been assisting my classmates in their learning for the majority of my schooling career. Not only does it provide a sense of satisfaction, but it also posses a challenge. I love to constantly learn and challenge myself. The concept of bettering myself whilst also helping others is undeniably an utter luxury. To me, tutoring doesn't feel like work at all. Furthermore, I have an outgoing and talkative personality and love to be surrounded by new people. Whether it is merely explaining a concept to someone, I truely gain a sense of joy and satisfaction when interacting with new people.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor is my ability to adapt myself and explain things in a way that is understandable to each individual. I believe that knowledge is vital for a tutor. However, it is equally important to be able to express and explain ideas in a comprehensive manner. I have personally experienced teachers who have a PhD; yet struggled to explain simple year 11 concepts to a class. Whilst knowledge is crucial; it is completely useless if one is unable to express themselves throughly. My sociable and kind personality allows me to adapt myself and understand each individual's learning needs.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor should be able to explain concepts in a manner which allows students to understand the concepts and apply it elsewhere. A tutor should assist students in understanding concepts on a deeper level, rather than just rote learning. Furthermore, a tutor should be passionate in what they teach. A teacher that is passionate about subjects will lead to students that share that same passion. It is essential to explain concepts in an engaging way, in an attempt to make learning fun and enjoyable.
