What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I've always really enjoyed tutoring because I love to see the moment when it finally "clicks" for a student, and they finally understand a complex problem they have been struggling with. It's very satisfying for both the student and the tutor. I also like that it forces me to always keep up to date and be quick with the fundamentals.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

My biggest strength as a tutor is the ability to break down concepts into much smaller digestible pieces, which is a skill that I have learned over the past 8 years of my tutoring career. I have been tutoring since high school, originally just for family and friends, but transitioned into professional online tutoring for the past 4 years, working with a New York based company that I helped run. I have experience teaching pretty much any math related subject ranging from basic algebra to advanced calculus.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I think that taking the time to really understand the student's needs and being able to break down the problem into its smallest components really helps to understand exactly where the student is going wrong, and how to help them. Once I understand where the student is struggling, I can focus on practicing that concept until they are comfortable enough to move on.
