What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I've always really enjoyed tutoring because I like seeing the reaction from students when they finally understand a complex problem they have been struggling with, and it slowly starts to make more sense. I also like that it forces me to always keep up to date and be quick with the fundamentals.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I would say my biggest strength is just my amount of experience tutoring, and learning throughout the years how to specialize my lesson plans to the needs of the particular student. I have been tutoring for about 8 years, starting when I was in high school just informally for friends. In college I transitioned to a role as a professional tutor with a New York based company, where I taught pretty much any subject you could think of ranging from basic algebra to advanced calculus.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think that taking the time to really understand the student's needs and being able to break down the problem into its smallest components really helps to understand exactly where the student is going wrong, and how to help them. Once I understand where the student is struggling, I can focus on practicing that concept until they are comfortable enough to move on.
