What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I most enjoy the feeling of knowing I am making a positive difference in the life of another. Personally, I believe education does not only provides greater employment opportunities but benefits society as a whole; since educated individuals are able to empower and guide those less fortunate to themselves. I know this is true because I had tuition during my schooling. It helped me obtain my desired university course, which once completed I will use to diagnose and treat mental health issues, improving my patients overall quality of life.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Tutoring students struggling with Maths taught me to deconstruct difficult concepts into smaller, understandable chunks. RESPONSIBLE ROLE MODEL: I have experience in mentoring children academically, socially and personally fostering their self-esteem. ENTHUSIASTIC: My energetic personality is a useful tool for maintaining students focus, motivation and attention during tasks.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Classrooms are taught to manage a variety of skill levels, often causing students to fall behind. Therefore a tutors primary role should be to deliver the school curriculum in a personalised form, filling any gaps in their tutees learning. Students and parents should be regularly consulted to ensure lessons are being delivered at a comfortable yet challenging, pace and style. If a tutor has created a safe and friendly atmosphere for each lesson they will receive honest feedback on their teaching style and thereby adjust accordingly.
