What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love it when I get to see the smile on a child's face when they finally understand something or they get better at a specific topic they've been struggling with for an extended period of time. It is the most rewarding experience as a tutor, as it is the only time I can confidently say that I've really "done my job."
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm patient, and understand that students will not always fully understand specific concepts at first, and that it takes time and nurturing for them to get better, and I am willing to put in the time and effort to achieve that outcome.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor must do for a student is to understand the student at a human level and what works best for them in terms of learning strategies. I.e., are they visual learners, do they respond better to a written formula, or something equivalent? It is such an important aspect of tutoring that is fundamental to not only the students' success in getting better, but for the improvement of the tutor themselves to grow and become better at what they do, which is useful when you teach a variety of students.
