What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy seeing the student's learning curve as a tutor and the self confidence when the student has a breakthrough. I think its very rewarding as a tutor to witness triumphs and to follow the journey of a student as they grow and learn.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I believe patience to be a top strength of mine. It is important to be able to demonstrate patience especially in a learning environment as you can not rush progress and everyone learns at a different pace. Therefore, having the ability to be flexible and tailor a teaching style is important. I would say another strength of mine would be being innovative. I love thinking outside the box and believe that learning should be holistic, therefore, using all parts of the brain. I find especially with younger students , learning needs to be engaging, stimulating and FUN.Most important things I can do for a student π
I think as a tutor one of the most important things we can do for a student is be a pillar of support to guide them and follow them on their learning journey. Instead of talking to students and feeding them information its important to talk WITH students as learning is a 2 way street and both student and teacher need to have input. Learning is most effective when the student is able to come to conclusions by themselves with the assistance of the teacher and therefore as a tutor I think its important to work in partnership.Tutoring students in π¦ π§
