What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is being about to share my knowledge with others. Aside from me tutoring others, I get to learn new things from students as well so I think it is really rewarding knowing that between each other we can share our knowledge. For example, when I was teaching this particular student how to use Photoshop, she asked me how to change just a portion of a picture into black and white. I was surprised at first because it was not something I knew beforehand, so we ended up working on it together.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
According to the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, I am an INFJ and I think that I am really creative with being able to think out of the box in most situations. Often in group work, I am able to come up with ideas and innovative ways to go about the project. In addition, another strength of mine is that I am able to relate to others. Being able to share my experience with others creates a greater connection and relation between me and the other person.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe achieving high scores isnt everything for a student. Being able to achieve more than that is whats important. It is true and no doubt that high grades can allow one to enter into a great university with a good degree. However, it is more important on how the students choose the right path in their lives that can make them happy and heart filled. It isn't so much on how a tutor teaches a student, but it is more about how they inspire and motivate them and be a good role model for them to look up to.
