What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I believe the most rewarding aspect of tutoring is observing my students' academic growth, as well as inspiring in them the love for learning and cultivating their passion for knowledge.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am currently studying Doctor of Medicine at UNSW. I completed the International Baccalaureate program with final results of 40/45 overall (equivalent to 98.5 ATAR). I am a passionate, patient and organised tutor who can effectively manage competing priorities, as exemplified in my numerous high school extracurricular activities (homework club, advocate club, youth ambassador role, etc.) while maintaining relatively decent academic performance. Hence, I believe that not only I will be able to assist my students academically, I can also teach them valuable organisation skills that are vital for their future academic endeavour.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I have experiences with tutoring peers and younger students, both face-to-face and online, and is described as very approachable and helpful. Aside from offering help with Maths, English, Chemistry and Economics, I can also provide mentorship for students who are interested in the Doctor of Medicine program (namely UMAT and interview tips). Furthermore, I believe that good study method that ensures longterm knowledge retention is just as significant as learning the content, so I am happy to share the study methods that help me to achieve consistent Distinction to High Distinction grade in medical school.
