What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have a passion for academic learning, whether it be learning myself or by passing my knowledge and experience to others. It is when a student struggling with their weakest areas in school learns how to approach a complex problem with confidence and class, making their weakest area their strength, which gives me great fulfilment as a tutor. It is the feeling of helping someone accomplish their goals and helping them not only to achieve, but to excel in their field which makes tutoring appeal so much to me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Tutoring in essence has the objective of helping people to more effectively grasp a concept. How a tutor chooses to approach that goal is unique to each tutor, and I believe my strength is initializing and building a solid foundation for a particular concept, and expanding upon that foundation to achieve a complete understanding of the topic. I consider this one of my strengths as a tutor as once an understanding of one topic in the field is achieved, it becomes easier for the student to understand another topic in their subject with similar content.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe building a relationship with the student is one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student, as it allows the tutor to recognize that each student has their own unique learning styles. These can only be identified during a session when a rapport between the student and tutor is established, and once this connection is made the tutor can then tailor their teaching methods to suit the needs of the student. It also allows the student to become more enthusiastic about learning when a relationship is established, making them more willing to learn.
