What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy having students fully understood and did task correctly after I taught them. It just reassures me that I am doing a good job in helping them grasp subject matter effectively, which is just so rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am flexible in a manner that I can adjust my teaching style and come up with different approaches to suit the needs of students/students of different calibre. I am very diligent and hence in high school I am well aware of the short cuts, things which confuse me a lot and how I consolidate these information that can be of great help to students who are struggling. I also have great written and verbal communication skills which are vital in order to pass on knowledge to students seamlessly.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Teach a student for knowledge and full grasp of concept instead of just memorising answers, scribbling out workings(for maths especially) without knowing the reason why just to get those straight As on paper. I believe a tutor's job is to expand students' horizon and opportunities beyond what books and the school offer. Another important thing a tutor can do for his/her students is to be a supporter. Being a tutor means giving strength and encouragement to students who are facing difficulties patiently. Also, tutors can serve the role as advisors for university and career paths.
