What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love the entire ethos of education - and the ability to guide a student into a level of deep understanding of a concept is something that I find most enjoyable and fulfilling. I like knowing that I have been a part of their journey of true understanding of whatever topic. Throughout my education I\'ve had many moments where concepts finally get explained to me in the correct way and it feels like a weight off my chest when things just \'click\' into a place of understanding - I would wish to impart that gratifying feeling on my students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I would say that as a tutor my strength is patience. I acknowledge that everyone has a different speed and way of learning and adapting to the student\'s needs are most important as I have been in their shoes. I have needed a tutor and teacher to be patient with me whilst I learn - so this is the least I can provide them. So I would say being patient with my students is one of my strengths.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I would say that the tutor developing a relationship of trust with the student is one of the most important things. Whilst it\'s all good and well for the tutor to deliver the class well, if the student does not trust the tutor to actually better them in their studies, no progress will be made. I think that learning goes hand in hand with self-confidence and if tutors and students have trust between them, the tutor can aid in their student building the self confidence as well as the knowledge which makes for a better and more benefitted student.
