What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy the most about teaching is witnessing the progress of my students, whether it is watching their hard work finally reflected in a subject they previously struggled with, or building up their self esteem by mastering challenging concepts. This is because it is a visual representation of how my guidance can shape and bring impact in their academic success.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

My strengths as a tutor are my excellent communication skills, which I developed when working with students. As each student has differing strengths and areas of improvements, I have learnt to adapt several problem-solving skills and strategies catered to the needs of each individual. I believe these skills would be beneficial to the team as I would deliver high-quality tutoring service by explaining difficult concepts with clarity.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe that the most crucial task a tutor can do in assisting a student is to have clear communication and demonstrate responsiveness when the student has any concerns towards a topic. A tutor should be able to concisely break down challenging concepts into simple explanations to ensure that the student can thoroughly understand these concepts, which is essential for future applications in similar questions. Furthermore, by actively listening and addressing questions or difficulties, this creates a space where the student feels comfortable expressing their uncertainties and build confidence
