What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like being a part of helping and seeing students grow in their understanding of the subject. I think being someone's tutor is such an important role and seeing a student succeed and do well as they grasp a certain topic that they had difficulty with before is so rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'd like to think I'm patient, approachable and have an ability to simplify content in layman's terms. I believe that their successes/failures are a reflection on my efforts and so with that in mind I do my best to help them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Having had many tutors at university, I've come to realise that a good tutor doesn't simply regurgitate answers from a list of questions. Rather I believe that a tutor has the responsibility of reinforcing what has been taught in class, summarising content and practising with the students. Some important things a tutor can do in addition is finding a students weakness and working to knock those barriers down.
