What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to pass on the knowledge I attained throughout my own education to help others that may be experiencing the same difficulties as I did. I also think that seeing a student grow academically and reach their potential is extremely rewarding.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I am empathetic and understanding of the difficulties that a student faces, and am able to provide many different solutions to overcome these.I believe I can tailor my teaching toward the needs of a student. I am also very patient with others and am able to explain a concept in different ways to suit the learning styles of a student. Having achieved a 93 in Extension 1 and 91 in Extension 2, I believe that I also have the credentials to teach others, and have developed strong mathematical skills and strategies that would prove valuable to other students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that a tutor should not just provide answers to a problem, but should guide the student to reaching that solution and ensure that they are able to understand the necessary steps. They should also be able to change the way they teach according to the needs of their students, as not everyone learns the same way. A tutor should be non-judgemental and be patient and supportive regardless of the academic level of their students.
