He is a bit shaky on converting between units of time, such as converting from minutes to hours or converting between decimal interpretations and time interpretations (eg. how many minutes in 2.25 hours?)

Just needs practise to increase proficiency in manipulating equations correctly and making sure that the correct operations are being used. For example, to undo a division, you have to multiply both sides of an equation.

I was pleased to see he understood the logic behind completing simple linear equations and was able to see the answer without needing to write down full working out (although for tests he should still write all working out!)
