What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
My absolute favorite thing in the world is seeing somebody light up after achieving something that they thought was impossible. By being a tutor, I am able to help my students achieve their dreams and make the impossible seem possible. I am a helpful person at heart and being a teacher and a role model feels natural to me and gives me a huge sense of satisfaction.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my focus on the fundamentals of concepts allows my students to grasp complex ideas. By really making sure that they understand how and why something happens, I believe it makes it much easier for my students to apply complex ideas to questions, as they are not simply looking at the question as an isolated situation, they have a big picture idea of why that situation is occurring and what is actually happening.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student, in my opinion, is to believe in them. When a child's role model believes in them they begin to believe in themselves and, I believe, that is the first step to accomplishing great things. If a child believes that they have the ability to do something they are more inclined to put more effort into that activity, hence they can often achieve results that they may have originally thought of as impossible.
