What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I absolutely love the process of assisting one in achieving their academic endeavours. This feeling originated from my Year 9 Maths class where we unfortunately had a teacher that was harsher towards the kids who were struggling (many of which my own friends). So I took it upon myself to help teach them and aid them to the point which they also managed to surpass the limitations that was constantly put upon them. This was an extremely rewarding experience for me, so I hope to aid others with that same journey so they too are not defeated by their academic woes.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am extremely patient, extremely when it comes to younger children. Having had to babysit numerous relatives and cousins children, I fully understand the pain of dealing with those who act difficult regardless of you trying to help them. However, such jobs have also led me to learn patience and strengthen my ability to interact in a calm manner and handle varying tantrums. This directly links to my ability as a tutor, as regardless of the academic talent of my students, I am willing to remain patient with them and support them no matter what until they feel confident in their ability.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor must always be supportive and understanding. Individuals to seek tuition are always there to learn and as a tutor, it is one’s job to teach. This requires the discipline to remain supportive and patient with there students as to not only enhance their skill, but build their confidence. As much as academic ability is important, the confidence a tutor can give their students will prove much more valuable as it allows more talented students to not break to pressure, and weaker students to not give in to feelings of defeat and push through.
