What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing my students succeed knowing that I was able to play a role. The most relevant example of this was when my family friend whom I tutored for 8 weeks passed the Maths extension 1 entrance exam and is now currently doing Maths extension 1.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strength as a tutor stems from my ability to be able to speak my thought processes clearly and in an understandable matter. The reason I believe that this is my greatest asset when teaching is due to the fact that I have seen other people more talented than me teach however, their students don't understand or can't keep up simply because they have skipped steps and done questions their way without any explanation of why. I believe that the ability to teach years 3-6 shows that I can teach any other year.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important role a tutor can play is showing constant and unconditional support for their student. This is something I've learned from the example of my previous tutor who answered almost every email or text message within the hour within reason. I believe showing this constant support allows the student to trust us as tutors and react more positively regarding their own learning.
