What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
High school can be a period of extreme stress - I remember. Proper preparation helped me immeasurably to feel at ease coming up to a test or exam, a quiet confidence that I would be able to give my best. This did great things for my mental health, which in turn helped me achieve a great ATAR score.
I think giving my students this same mental ease and confidence is what I enjoy most about tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths are my positive and encouraging attitude, alongside my passion for communicating ideas. The goal for me is to develop my students to be able to learn independently and succeed, which involves establishing good study habits and learning the right questions to ask when feeling stuck.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing I can teach a student is how they best learn. Every student is different and the key for success is understanding what methods to use for study, and how to trigger their self-motivation and discipline. Working to their strengths and being aware of their weaknesses is a sure strategy to putting their best self forward, in study and beyond.
