What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the lightbulb moments that students have, because you realise that they have truly understood the concept you are trying to explain to them. For me, the understanding is the most important part of learning. If you understand, you can apply the concept to any question that is thrown at you, and not rely on memorising information. I enjoy knowing that the time Im spending is going towards improving someones future. It is extremely satisfying to see all the effort you put in outside of the tutoring hours pay off with higher marks and a much happier and accomplished student.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I make every session the highest value for money I can for the student. The tutoring time would mainly be spent covering areas of concern for the student rather than those topics that they are strong at. I also aim to prepare all my notes and content for the session beforehand. It is important to identify a goal for the session and have questions and content prepared to achieve these goals, otherwise time will be wasted during the session figuring out these things and the student will not gain the most they can out of their time and money.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
