What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing the student realise that they 'can' do it. The confidence they gain going from a point where they don't want to do it anymore to wondering why they struggled in the first place. I also like to see students enjoy their work rather then seeing it as a chore they have to do. I feel showing there is some real life applications to the work they are doing helps gain interest.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I understand where the students are coming from. I was not a top 1% student in high school. I have been able to find a way to learn and enjoy maths since leaving school, I believe this has shown through my marks both through my electrical trade "schooling" and now my engineering degree. I believe this helps me communicate with students well and makes it easier to connect and hopefully improve their enjoyment and therefore marks in their school work.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Listen, I feel that I need to hear what they struggle with and why they think they are unable to do as well as they would like. From their we can use their strengths to help improve their weaker parts of their school work.
