What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Problem Solving. I am a problem solver and am passionate about it. However, I'm not just passionate about solving my own problems: what I enjoy most is listening to other people's problems and helping them solve them. I love the spark in a student's eyes when they understand – you can just tell when they finally get it!

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

Relating to students and building rapport with them. I love helping people out, so my determination to build a relationship with students and help them learn and understand is my biggest strength. Along with this, I have an extremely good grasp of mathematics concepts (final year of a Bachelor of Advanced Mathematical Sciences) which I can relate to students of varying levels using different approaches.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish [and give him a rod] and you feed him for a lifetime." I think the most important thing that I can do for a student is to provide them with understanding and tools to solve their own problems. I have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts (as I am completing an Advanced Mathematics degree), which I can share in a variety of ways to help relate to each individual student.
