What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

At school, I've always enjoyed helping others with their assignments (sometimes over doing my own). Although I do not have any formal experience, I have drafted numerous assignments for friends/peers which have resulted in positive results. This output, in combination with their joy and newfound understanding, makes the tutoring process extremely rewarding for myself. I have also informally led a study session with friends for Math and Chemistry and seeing them finally understand a concept that "the teacher couldn't explain" was the best!

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

A good communicator, patient, and confident. I understand that the academic process does not come as easily to some, and I love watching people strive for excellence and achieve their very best.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Teaching the content and helping them fully grasp it, rather than doing it for them. I find that a lot of subjects have a particular rhythm to them; although some require rote learning (like particular concepts, especially within math), there are always patterns that can be identified so that students achieve their very best. For example: Stage 2 English Literary Studies. I struggled with analysis last year (Y11), but this year I have discovered a pattern, and have secured 5 consecutive A+ results so far.
