What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the reward of being able to see your own student who you have helped academically develop achieve their goals and marks they wanted. The reward of seeing someone achieve something they have been wanting to get, being assisted by your own abilities gives me a sense of joy and confidence. This motivates me to tutor more students and hopefully gain even greater results.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are my communications skills and adaptability. Being in the UNSW Business Society as a director, I've had to chance to guide first-year students of uni to transition from highschool to university. My communications skills I have gained from this makes me feel I'm capable of being a tutor, accompanied by my ability to be friendly and talk to new people. Additionally, my adaptability gained through working in 3 different jobs, one including private tutoring. I had to adapt to different student needs and adapt my teaching methods to ensure students effectively understand work.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing is empowering the student to achieve their best and supporting them no matter the mark. Ensuring a child has confidence in answer questions and being unafraid of getting answers wrong allows students to reach their potential. Stepping out of your comfort zone to try new methods and solve complex problems is what makes a good students, which is largely developed from a strong, and supportive tutor or teacher.
