What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing the students start to understand the work and develop their abilities to accomplish the set tasks. To see them get closer towards achieving their goals, and obtain the knowledge to expand their skills is great.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor is mathematics. As a Biomed university student, I am constantly using math for scientific research that it has become second nature. I have always had incredible math skills since primary school and want to teach that knowledge to other individuals. I have the ability to teach for different learning styles (Written, Visual, Auditory, or Kinesthetic) and can adapt for any students needs.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things I can do for a student is help them improve on their weaknesses while utilising their strengths. Using their strengths and adapting them for improvement on areas they struggle on will help the student in the long run. For example, using their preferred learning style to teach concepts and topics they struggle with will help them learn much easier and be able to retain that knowledge.

Get to Know Me

One of my hobbies is baking. I enjoy spending my free time working on a recipe and improving the flavours or textures of a dessert. As a chemistry student, I understand baking is just another science, and it is great to be able to create such intricate handmade desserts just by understanding how each ingredient reacts and combines. Another hobby of mine is reading. I always appreciate a good thriller, mystery or romance book. I can always get lost in a good book, being transported into a different world just from words written on pages. Like Stephen King said, "Books are a uniquely portable magic."
