In my last year of highschool, I graduated with a Certificate of Merit, meaning I achieved a WACE grade of 180 points. Additionally, I also graduated with an ATAR Maths Applications Graduation Award for achieving the highest grade in the class throughout the year. In addition, I also have a Certificate 2 in Workplace skills which means I have the ability to draft emails, use different computer softwares and write policies and procedures.
One of my hobbies is baking. I enjoy spending my free time working on a recipe and improving the flavours or textures of a dessert. As a chemistry student, I understand baking is just another science, and it is great to be able to create such intricate handmade desserts just by understanding how each ingredient reacts and combines. Another hobby of mine is reading. I always appreciate a good thriller, mystery or romance book. I can always get lost in a good book, being transported into a different world just from words written on pages. Like Stephen King said, "Books are a uniquely portable magic."
