What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to see the moment of clarity when a student finally understands a concept. Helping others gain confidence in their abilities is a rewarding experience and also a challenge for me where I can personalise the way I teach someone based on their strengths. This makes it exciting and also helps me obtain a more in depth understanding of the topic I am teaching.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my biggest strength as a tutor is my ability to adapt to different learning styles. I take the time to understand how a student processes information, whether it's visual, hands-on or auditory, I change my approach to their needs. I can also break down complex topics into more manageable steps which can help make challenging topics feel less intimidating. This technique was also helpful to me in high school and helped me achieve 1st in ICT, 2nd in maths and science and 3rd in STEM in grade 10 and 2nd in physics, 3rd in mathematics extension 1 and 3rd in software in grade 12

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is having patience. By having patience, a tutor creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as it is an important part of the learning process.
