I am a dedicated and passionate person that aims to provide service to others as a leader and mentor with proven experience in guiding younger students. As a College Prefect and Leader as well as a successful student, I have developed efficient strategies to simplify complex concepts and built effective social skills, ensuring that students can gain confidence and understanding. My strong background in maths and other subjects is further highlighted by his excellent Year 12 results, making me an ideal tutor for students needing support.
During my High-school experience in Year 12, I excelled in my subjects Standard English and Maths as well as Business Studies, Economics, and Studies of Religion 2, which I believe has assisted me in becoming well-equipped to support students in their academic journeys. My strong performance in these subjects is complemented by my ongoing desire for higher education in Business/Commerce, which continuously enhances my analytical and problem-solving skills which are key traits beneficial for successful tutoring. Additionally, during my time in high school I received one of the five major awards of the College All-Rounder and also was the College Sport Captain in Year 12.
While I take my studies seriously, I believe in the importance of balance. Outside of school, you’ll usually find me either playing basketball or at the gym, which helps me remain energised and focused. These hobbies give me a chance to step away from academics and unwind, but they also teach me important lessons in discipline, teamwork, and persistence. Whether it’s pushing through a tough workout or competing in a game, I’ve learned how to stay motivated and keep pushing forward, no matter the challenge. I bring this same mindset to everything I do, including tutoring by assisting younger individuals in overcoming difficult topics and challenges that they may face.

The areas that went well were the students ability to remember the steps taught previously as well as in the lesson and apply it to further questions such as in factorisation, changing the subject and graphing linear equations with table of values. Also with the formulas provided the student was very confident with the pythagorus theorem and volume, and his comprehension skills were also good.
The areas of improvement are reading every key aspect of the questions and diagrams provided slowly and thoroughly to ensure that no simple errors are made. Also, spelling may need some small improvements through practice.

The areas that went well were the students note taking and ability to apply his knowledge once taught the steps. Particularly in factorising and simplifying algebraic equations, the student learnt the steps then was able to answer the questions provided without assistance. Additionally, solving linear equations, equivalent expressions, and proofreading questions was very positive.
The areas of improvement are remembering and maintaining the knowledge once taught as well as the more difficult questions within factorising, and solving linear equations and inequalities.

The areas that went well were homophones, and most of the year 8 content with conversions, percentages, fractions. Also, once the content was taught to the student he was able to understand it quickly and was able to apply it to future questions in a short period of time.
Although there were not many areas of improvement some would include factorising and simplifying equations and volume and area equations but this is in the Year 9 textbook and it hasn't been taught completely yet. Also, an area of improvement is notetaking and writing down each step for equations and expressions.
