What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' learning journeys. I love seeing the "aha" moments when concepts click and students gain confidence in their abilities. Building positive relationships and tailoring my approach to suit each student's unique needs makes the experience rewarding. Additionally, helping my siblings overcome challenges and achieve their goals has fostered a sense of fulfillment, knowing I’ve contributed to their personal and academic growth.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my strengths include strong communication skills, which help me explain complex concepts in a clear and relatable way. I am patient and adaptable, tailoring my teaching methods to suit each student's unique learning style. I am highly organised, ensuring lessons will be structured and goal-oriented, and most importantly, I can create a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment with my easygoing and funny personality. I find that humor and a relaxed approach help students feel at ease, making engaging and absorbing information easier.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student are to build their confidence, tailor the learning approach to their individual needs, and create a supportive and encouraging environment. A tutor should simplify complex concepts, motivate the student to stay engaged, and foster independent learning skills. Furthermore empowering the students by making learning engaging, inspiring self-confidence, and fostering a positive impact both academically and personally.

Larissa performed well on her spot test considering some of the questions were not covered in the content for the actual test. We went over the formulas/content and applied them to the questions. We did some questions together, and through that, I got to understand her train of thought for answering the questions. I got Larissa to explain how she reached the solutions so she actively becomes aware of the process and formulas.
Multiplication and division - suggested to practice 1-5 tables by playing games or getting quizzed by her parents as well as writing them down. - Being confident in her answers and solutions - Writing effective notes
