What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy teaching my own tricks to people. Using the same things that got me through highschool and sharing that with students to use themselves. I can see that alot of ways of teaching have become super complicated but i like to stick to the basics and use what i know will always work and adjusting where needed to suit the student because everyone is different!My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My ability to listen and accomodate. I can hear a person out and understand when you just dont like a method. Even though it might be helpful but you dont like using it that is something i really get and feel, so challenge myself to find as many different ways to solve problems as possible and find each students seperate strengthsMost important things I can do for a student π
Guide and almost offer all the little hacks. They learn the method at school but as a tutor its important to do the extra work in how to use the tool to be the most effective for the student.Tutoring students in π¦ π§

we have decided together that jasmine might be able to recall concepts on her own alot quicker if we take notes about each concept, so will start giving her notes to write outside of our lessons and will check them at each new lesson.
The timetables when tested on them Jasmine was able to answer a little faster than when i first met her however could still be revised and worked on.

Jasmine picked up the long multiplication quite quickly with very minor mistakes after 3 demonstrations. Majority of questions were correct with no guidance.

Encouraged to memorise as many times tables as she can as in an exam-style situation there wonβt be time to write out all the times tables.
