What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring allows me to engage with my passions, specifically math and science. Through this service I'm able to use my academic talent to good use, helping others achieve great things. Tutoring and teaching in general also enhances my own skills. Explaining concepts challenges your understanding of the topic you are teaching, simultaneously serving as personal revision.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My ability to demonstrate concepts in multiple ways and alter my teaching style on the go to better suit my students is the strongest skill I possess. Everyone learns in their own unique way and as a tutor, I believe it's my duty to recognise this and be flexible with the ways I share my knowledge.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The first and most imperative task for a tutor is to make your students passionate about what you are teaching or at the very least, identify the benefits of the service you are providing. From my own personal experience as both a student and a tutor, I am aware that it is extremely difficult to learn if you are not motivated to learn in the first place. The most important thing for a tutor to do is to preserve or create that motivation within a student.
