I really enjoy helping others and meeting new people. I also really enjoy watching people develop not just as a student but also as a person. I believe that i am incredibly compassionate which is a valuable skill as a tutor. I believe that I am an understanding and kind person who tries to uplift everyone I come across with my positive attitude. I also am a very empathetic individual which is an important skill as a tutor. In being empathetic I can gain a deeper understanding of what a student is thinking when they donβt understand something thus helping them to effectively learn difficult content. I believe that one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is listening attentively to them when they are having difficulty with something. In doing this a good tutor can identify their students needs and can implement strategies to allow them to effectively learn new content. I also believe that one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to make them feel confident in a range of different study and exam techniques.
