What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The thing I enjoy the most about tutoring is the way I can help someone gain a love and passion for a subject that their confusion may have interfered with initially. I have had many experiences where feeling as if I do not fully understand something or if I could not get something has prevented me from loving something until I get that understanding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my strengths as a tutor are patience and determination which allow me to work with the person I am tutoring until they understand the concept, no matter how many sessions it takes. These skills also then allow me to demonstrate my ability to collaborate as I can then ask and fully listen to any questions that the person may have which prevent them from fully getting the concept.

I think the most important things a tutor can do for a student is creating an environment and relationship which they feel both comfortable and willing to learn in. This can begin anywhere from allowing the student to ask any question and getting a respectful answer to being an easily accessible resource for the student so they feel comfortable in seeking tutoring.
